How do I make my candle last longer?

• Trim the Wick – Before each burn, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This helps the candle burn evenly and prevents it from burning too hot or fast.
• Let the Wax Pool – Allow the candle to burn long enough for the entire top layer of wax to melt to the edges. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.
• Burn in Intervals – Avoid burning your candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time to reduce soot and extend the candle’s life.
• Keep Away from Drafts – Burn candles away from fans, open windows, or vents. Drafts can cause uneven burning and shorten burn time.
• Store Properly – Keep candles in a cool, dark place with the lid on to preserve the wax and scent.

How do I prevent tunneling?

• Burn Until the Wax Pool Reaches the Edges – On the first burn, let the candle melt all the way to the edge of the container. This can take 2-4 hours. This sets the "memory" of the wax and helps it burn evenly with each burn. 
• Avoid Short Burns – Always burn your candle long enough (typically 2-4 hour per inch of diameter) to prevent a small tunnel from forming around the wick.
  
• Trim the Wick – Keep the wick trimmed to about 1/4 inch to ensure a steady, controlled flame that melts the wax evenly.
  
• Level the Surface – Make sure the candle is on a flat, level surface while burning to avoid uneven melting.

What's the best way to store my candle?

The best way to store your candle is to keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Here are a few key tips:

• Keep the Lid On – After each burn, pop back the lid. This helps preserve the fragrance and prevents dust from settling on the wax.
  
• Avoid Extreme Temperatures – Heat can cause the wax to soften or melt, while cold can cause cracking. Room temperature (around 60–80°F / 15–27°C) is ideal.
  
• Store Upright – Always store candles standing upright to prevent warping and to protect the wick.
  
• Keep Away from Light – Sunlight and strong indoor lighting can discolour the wax and degrade the fragrance over time.
